Dec. 13th:Parent Meeting.
Dec. 14th students should come to rehearsal in hair, make-up and (some what) of a costume. We will be taking publicity shots of our cast members. We will also be taking their headshots this day. Mrs. (Laura) Schmitt, I can take care of this, this year as I gave you no heads up. J Please have your students TRY to be there! It will be a lot of fun!
Dec. 19th we will showcase what scenes we have so far. We invite our drama mamas and papas (only) to come in and take pictures and/or watch the show. The students always do well with an audience.
On Dec. 20th we will be performing some of our 10 min skits and mini-monologues and our Drama 2011 mock election results. Please feel free to attend. You will not be disappointed! With the addition of our assistant director, Eric Roman, the students are learning more and more not only about performing and the show Grease but also going through acting training and character development. After, we can go to Friday’s and support the Show Choir Fundraiser!

Parents and students- As stated at the parent/student meeting in October, work is not an excuse to miss rehearsal. If you are continuously missing rehearsal due to work, you will need to reevaluate your commitment to the show. You have the schedule in advance for this reason. This is becoming a problem with our cast and, as our students know, this hurts the entire group.
Again, any absence from rehearsal must be in writing to me via email or text as early as possible.
Beauty School Drop Out GIRLS --- remember your vocal rehearsal on Tuesday, 11/15 from 2:30-3:15.
ALL Boys for Greased Lightin' have been rescheduled for Nov. 19th at 9am-3pm and a performance at 3pm for the dance-a-thon! This was announced at Tuesday, Nov. 1st rehearsal. :)
Nov. 2nd 3rd and 4th are cancelled due to fashion show conflicts.
Update: as of Oct. 21st. NEW schedule below!

What you missed at the parent meeting:
I am in the process of getting parents names by the areas in which they volunteered. Thanks again!
Parent Involvement:
Parent involvement is crucial to any production. The directors encourage parents to help their student’s program in any way they can. To find out how parents can help, please check the website for updates. Students will be notified of parent meetings in the future by email. If you would like to be included in the email fan out, please email Kelly Schmidt (director) at [email protected] .
